June SAT Critical Reading

nuanced, i believe.

I loved the graffiti passage! When I read the quote of the post-it note I was like "wow, that is wonderfully absurd"-- and sure enough, it asks about absurdity! :)

what were the other answer choices for the "man drinking only tea" question besides "abstemious" and "cloistered"?

and yes it is nuanced.....100000% sure.

nuance n. A subtle or slight degree

I put nuanced, too. Elanorci- ditto about the note!

for those who had the ballet passage: what did you put for the question that asked to define the "steps?" i put "movement"

nuanced is subtleties of history and stuff.

abstemious was about a guy who could only drink green tea because it was strong or something and abstemious: "sparing in consumption of especially food and drink".

wazmo: i think my math experimental was 7 because questions were weird and also the shapes at the top were huge rectangles, which i have never seen ebfore. of course you're not supposed to be able to tell which is experimental so idk

for subtleties, I put voluminous..but i guess i'm wrong.

I enjoyed the yellowstone park, ballet, and chinese dad passages. Yellowstone and ballet was fun to read lol. And Chinese family passages are common in SAT practice tests so I was pretty familiar with the style.

i put movement for definition of "steps" too, it made sense in context.

flyingpopat, the experimental section was 6.

What were the choices for the "steps" question for ballet?

All the passages were pretty straightforward but the vandalism one was kinda tricky

The movement question was hard. It was weird, because I'm normally really good at those types of questions...

What was the answer to the last one on the graffiti question? Something about modern...

i also put movement...pretty sure that's right.

What about the defintiion of the repition one? anyone remember that one?

gee, I can't spell today...

sht, I didn't have movement for steps. I had like a list or something, I dont remember the choices.

It was movement.

Was the note on the fridge question a narrative or an allegory? I put allegory because it seemed to represent home communication or whatever coming to an end, but I'm not sure.

Parity
Remuneration
abstemious
Nuanced
Vitriolic
Malicious
Obstinate
Olfactory
Controversial
Complexity
abstreperous

Theres are all I can think of right now, anyone care to add?

NoName_06: i put absurd narrative. i didn't quite see the allegory.
