What was questions 90? I forgot, I remember it was really easy though.

What was the quote?

What was the quote?

haha the adams quote in a further letter opens with

“you are too saucy”, which is the best.

The new england one was that the priests decided because they had a leading role in puritan society.

Who decided local affairs in colonial New England (or something like that)? Church Leaders? I believe #90 was something about Cult of Domesticity?

Yeah, it was church leaders. What was the #90 questions? Also, ACTTester, have you gotten a 36 on your ACT?

for i think 2nd to last i put that something about their moral qualities

90 was cult of domesticity, with a quote about women and sisters and all that shaping the country through moral purity or w/e

Puritans had power, but NOT politically, since only Plymouth (not MBC, RI, CT) had a system where the church was tax-supported. The halfway covenant supports the decay of the religion in society.

But the puritan form of democracy was well and alive, thus the correct answer of “town meeting” and the term “New England town” today.

About the assembly-governor question:
the reason the answer is the money at the governor’s expense is because the colonial assemblies (especially the Massachusetts Bay assemblies) had control over the governor’s wage. Therefore, they were able to use that (i.e. not give him the wage) to gain power over him.

I actually have a really big issue with this question. They kind of apply to all colonial assemblies… but each colony had a different relationship with their governor, like the Rhode Island assembly had alot more power than the Pennslyvanian assemblies. The Rhode Island assembly had an elected governor who was nearly powerless, and the assembly made all official appointments. On the other hand, the Pennslyvanian family propietors were extremely powerful (but also generous) and pretty much had the entire say in the matter.

Yeah, I remember something like that. Does anyone fosure know what it takes to get an 800?

Only the Collegeboard knows and they won’t be releasing it. Curves are predetermined.

So the answer wasn’t church officials?

Was an answer “puritans kicked dissenters from the colony?” did anyone get that?

Lol, random question. No, I have a 35; I don’t really care though since I have the equivalent of a 36 with my SAT.

@Cortana431, yea that was the answer

Btw, curves aren’t predetermined. it’s all based on means and standard deviations.

Anyway, could the OP edit their very first post to include all of the questions so far and possible/definite answers to each? That would make things helluva lot easier.

Yes, puritans kicked dissenters is correct (Hutchinson, Roger Williams)

Cortona, yeah, it was Puritans kicked dissenters from their colony.
