**June SAT U.S. History Post Test Discussion**

Isn’t cultural pluralism meaning many cultures co-exist, but wasn’t the quote explicitly saying how you had to leave behind your old culture when you go to a new country?

^^ I put assilmationism. And coldflame, labor union membership increased as a result of the new deal bc FDR passed things like the Wagner act. Can anyone confirm?

Coldflame, women were forced to find work. But the answer choice said a majority of women, meaning over 50%. At the time, only about 20% of women worked outside the home.

hmmmm i actually put labor union membership increase but now I think i’m wrong, the problem said the 3 years after 1929, Wagner act was a couple years after and the problem was referring to the great depression before FDR took office

what about for a question that asked why england joined the slave trade or something…i think i put to compete with portugal was that a choice? was it the same question as the one with africans picking cotton

The answer was assimilation. It talked about getting assimilated into a new culture.

How about the 1st question. Majority of the workers in Virginia and Maryland BEFORE 1675 were?

Amazon you’re talking about why slave trade didnt develop. the answer was slaves previous experience to grow cotton.

@bigdreams - indentured servants

@bigdream18- the answer was indentured servants

@bigdream: indentured servants

Wait guys, weren’t there two great depression questions? One which was “inflation” because price deflated at the start of the great depression. I’m pretty sure it had to be women were forced to work… I don’t remember it saying a “majority”

-1 from the list. This is looking very positive!

was ben franklin an answer cause i don’t remember it?

and what were the other options for the beecher stowe one? i like don’t remmeber it at all.

No, Benjamin Franklin wasn’t an answer as far as I know.

@Coldflame: youre correct

Me neither NspiredOne

ok are u sure there wasn’t any choice on any question about competing with spain or portugal on the slave trade?

I wish I had better memory. I forgot all the great depression questions ;/. What are people predicting the curve to be? -8=800?

Wait so Bert, i’m correct about women being forced into the workforce as well?

@amazon- you’re referring to the questions about which country colonized first. The answer was Spain.
