June world history sat II

LOL. when people found out kids do that in my school, it went in the ny times -_-.

damn it. Sorry...I keep repeating what people say --;;

Umm...

I can't seem to remember any much

Ahh!

"Third rome" = link with Constantinople and Rome?

characteristic of Ottomon sultans = tolerant?

here are 2 Qs i remember:

it was about the migration patterns in africa..i think

was about the sahara and farming

OH YEAH, what was that question about the ottoman empire and their religious toleration.

I said B) they were islamic but generally tolerant. I was about to go with C which was they refused to say what they were and were completely tolerant

aiite. lets figure out the rest of the qs. ok so ...

hmm. i think there was one asking about the tang dynasty? oh wait there was a question that was something like this.. "which of the following cities were on the silk route" i think i put samarkand and i forgot the city that was w/ it

talkaboutambition: 00;; That's pretty harsh haha.

I would say no matter what they are, don't cancel. The curve for this is VERY generous. You will probably be surprised.

So how many questions do you guys think you guys missed?

third rome sounds familiar. i think i put constantinople. i either put that or somethin else. was that the question with russia? OHHHH i remember another question; what did peter and catherine have in common = def the westernization / modernization of russia.

wasn't there something with salt and gold?

and migration patterns = Bantu in 8000 BCE (?)

it was luoyang. that is correct. choice A.

i put bantu migrations

i don't remember any questions on sahara and farming

luoyang and samarkland.

@ i lovemehaha

yeah it was like the africans and what they traded.... I said gold and salt

I would say no matter what they are, don't cancel. The curve for this is VERY generous. You will be surprised.

and ottoman sultans were tolerant. i put that Q down to two; it was either the toleration of jews and christians or complete equality of all religions.

i was gunna put the later, but i chose the first... because part of the 2nd choice was "... and put no religion before another" or something like that. and the ottomans were in actuality a theocracy / caliph etc. so i put the toleration of jews / christians.

YES OKAY. i have 57 of the 95 questions! I dont know if i should post it just b/c.. idk you know.

i put Constantinople too.

kk Good!

I skipped the samarkand and luoyang one. Eh w/e

Um. talkaboutambition, I don't remember the question with Catherine/Peter (or whatever his name) --;;

yep salt and gold, saw that question 3-4 times on practice tests in the books. also another question; what was swahili culture a mixture of. haha these qs are coming back to me.

hinduism/islam, no?

do you guys think taht i should just post it up here? =/ or do you want to PM me or something and then you can express your disagreements here? ??
and it wasn't swahilli, i thought it was sikh.

"I dont know if i should post it just b/c.. idk you know."

yeah i would pm it to the people who want it (who helped to compile the list)....when youre done
