Junior Business School Transfer

I am a 1st year student at msu i had a 3.5 hS gpa, and a 3.78 gpa my first year at Michigan State University. I had a 27 act, throughout hs i played hockey, lacrosse, tennis, golf, and swimming. I also did theatre and had a lead in a professional show. I was captain of the lacrosse team and was all-state. I was also the president of physics club and won the UofM physics Olympiad. In college i am part of the MSU Prelaw Society and Marketing Mix Im thinking about retaking my act and know i could get at least a 31-32. I have about 50 hours of community service and i am interning at a national law firm.

I was thinking about trying to transfer for my junior year to either UCLA, Uchicago, Columbia, NYU, Penn, or Texas. Does anyone think i have a shot at either of those. Im going for majors in Finance and Marketing.

Chicago, Columbia, and Penn are way out of your league. UCLA, NYU, and Texas are reaches, but possibilities.

As a Junior year transfer student, your record at MSU trumps your high school record. From the brief summary of that record (grades, intern position) you may find interest from some of the selective universities on your list.

I encourage you to apply to all the universities on your list.

alright thank you
