I'm a sophomore now, I've already and I've submitted all my course requests for Junior year, but now, looking back, I'm starting to think that maybe I should have chosen differently with colleges in mind......I'm planning to apply to top tier colleges (I have 4.0, 2200 SAT -i'm gonna retake at some point in junior/senior year...)
Right now (as a sophomore), I'm taking APUSH + CHinese 8 +a bunch of normal required courses.....
For junior year, I requested AP Eng Lang/ AP Comparative Gov/ AP Psych/ Gen Physics/Adv Pre-Calc/ IB Art HL Y1
For senior year, I'm planning to take AP Eng Lit/ AP Econ/ AP Physics/ AP Calc/ Environmental Science (really easy I heard)/ IB Art HL Y2...

I'm sure I can still add/drop courses at the beginning of next year... So I just have a few questions
1.) I heard that many colleges have 3 or 4 foreign language requirements or they strongly recommend it... does that mean you have to take 3/4 credits in highschool, or you just have to surpass that level? Will colleges consider the fact that I'm already fluent in another foreign language?
2.)is IB/AP mix a good idea? I've heard varying stories on this one. some say its really bad, some say its really good... I have the option of taking AP art, but thats too fast-paced for me... Will colleges care which one you take? THeir both pretty demanding courses...
3.)Am i taking on too much? I'm thinking that since i'll get two free periods it'll be easier for me to deal with everything...And lots of people told me that some of the AP courses I'm taking will be alot easier than APUSH..

UHHHH. i hate making decisions. :(
Please help!
