Hey! I've been looking at summer programs for film and trying to figure out which would be the best choice. At first I saw NYFA's course but quickly discarded it when I saw that the age range went from 14-18 years. I'm looking for something truly PRE-COLLEGE. The main 3 I've seen that would work so far are Chapman's summer program (it's application deadline already passed), UCLA's advanced filmmaking program and SOCAPA's 3 week program. Anyone have any comments on any of those 3 or know of any others I should look at?

There’s a free documentary program at Hofstra University in Long Island, NY called Documenting Diversity that accepts juniors that you can try, as I’ve done it last year.
