junior planning for college

I'm a junior and wondering what colleges i should be attempting on applying to. I live in Texas and my grade point is 5.435 on a 5.0 scale. I am 2/260. I have taken the PSAT and i scored 54 on math, 56 on verbal, and 72 on writing. My percentile was 88th. I plan to do prelaw. I am involved in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Secretary of the History Club, Band, and have gone to State and recieved many All Region Honors for my music. Outside of school I do community service with my youth group and have taken piano for 10 years. Please help me get started with my college search. Thankyou!

Depends on many things - do you want large size, small size, university, liberal arts, urban, suburban, rural, in state, or out of state? What do you want to study (prelaw is not a major)? When you get the answers to these questions, you'll find more assistance. Have you visited any colleges? Met with any college representatives? While the results may be a bit off, you can always try the Counselor-o-matic program on the Princeton Review website for ideas. It won't produce a perfect or necessarily accurate list, but it may add some colleges for you to consider.
