Is this too many AP for a junior? I also plan to do many EC's.

AP Chem
AP Physics
AP Comp Sci
AP US History
English 11
Spanish 4

For math I'm going to do like Precalc/AP Calc BC. I'm in a kind of funny situation. I can take Calc 1 at the community college for the first semester of school. Then in the second semester I am going to switch from PreCal to Calc BC. Then in senior year I could take Multivaribale Calc. Is this a good idea? I could also just stick with PreCalc and take AP Calc BC senior year. Also I can only take AP Physics if I do the PreCal/CalcBC thing. Otherwise I have to take regular Physics.

Also should you take Physics before AP Physics or just jump to AP Physics. I think I could handle it though.

Pursue the most rigorous courseload you can handle. If you think you'd get a B in Calc BC and you normally get A's in math, I'd say save it for senior year. However, if math is very easy for you and you don't have to put much/any effort into studying for tests, skipping to Calc BC is probably your best option. If you typically don't get A's in math or if you have to work hard to get an A, don't skip. You have enough AP's already and you'll have SAT's to study for.

Couldn't you skip precalc/Calc BC over the summer instead of in a semester?

Anyway, Calc BC is impressive enough as a senior-year course. Only take Multivariable if you enjoy math or you can do it easily without hating yourself.

While taking regular Physics does give you a good leg up, it's not required. If you can handle it, sciencenerd (which based on your username you should be able to ), then I would say just take AP. As far as the Calc thing goes, I would say just save it for senior year. Your schedule is intense enough, and high school should be fun.

i'm takin 5 APs and 1 honors class. same thing as you, cept hon span 4, ap english, and ap Stat.

no comp sci or calc.

as for physics, you don't need to be in calc to take physics B (which is what AP Physics, at least in my school))

if you can do it, go for it.

Wow, AP Physics and AP Chem in 1 year, that's impressive. I think my junior schedule (AP Chem, AP Eng/Lit, AP US, AP Govt, and Trig) is very difficult so you must be a certified genius! lol

Is this a good schedule or should I drop somethings. Some classes I would take anyway in senior year so I'm thinking why take it? I still have to decide. I don't know what I should do?

My school is stupid, so I think this is what my course will look like..

AP Psychology*
AP Eng/Lit
AP Biology
AP US History
AP Statistics
AP Spanish Lang or Lit**
Honors American Government
Pre-Calc/Trig
Physics

self-study
*Taking test, as I'm a native speaker.

My school is also stupid..its a christian school that offers crappy courseloads and wants you have to take a bible course which throws off everything so this is what im taking next year:

Yearbook
AP US history
Hon Forensics/Genetics
AP English/Lit
Marine Biology
Spanish II
Hon Pre-Calc
AP Psychology*
AP Chemistry*

*- Independent study..

i might decide to add AP Euro or AP Stat as another independent study because my school does not offer anything..does anyone have any tips on independent studying..like how to make sure you're covering everything you need? Also, senior yr im taking hon spanish III because i've already done Three years of latin..and AP Calc AB...at my school this is considered overkill which is pretty sad
