i only took one AP as a sophomore. Is jumping from one AP to 4 too much? Also to anyone who took these classes any comments? Thanks!

What do you have going on outside of school? With APs it can come down to the amount of time you have to study for the classes.
AP Bio is a very hard AP, and I’ve heard similar rumors of APUSH.
AP Psych has a lot of work, but it isn’t too hard.

Have you taken all three of biology, chemistry, and physics?
If not, replace AP bio with either honors Chem or honors physics.
If you have, ask about the drop add policy and if need be, drop one class (Psych probably).

Yes, going from one AP to 4 Aps is hard unless you are very motivated, hard working. I tried to jump from one ap to 4 aps this year, and it didn’t work out. I recommend only taking 3, trust me I had a mental breakdown the first week of school because of my 4APS. I wanted to cry every day because of the massive amount of work that I had. I dropped one of APs and replaced it with honors online because I couldn’t handle it anymore. You will have a very stressed junior year including college apps and SAT/ACTs.

What science classes have you taken? What classes did you take last year and how did you do in them?

I just found out that I can no longer change my schedule so hopefully I’ll just stay motivated the whole year :expressionless: thanks though!

Is there no process to “drop down” for overwhelmed students?
