What's so funny about Varsity Choir?

[/quote]

haha that is funny...

Varsity Choir??? :p

Do you have a junior varsity choir?

Ya...seriously, I don't get what it's so funny.

lol..and that makes it all the more funny.

Whee...since we're posting schedules. Unfortunately, compared to yous all, mine classes seem kinda ummmm....of a lower tier....

1.) AP US History
2.) Honors English
3.) Honors Pre-calculus
4.) Honors Physics
5.) Honors Spanish 4: Historia and Arte
6.) Honors Chinese 3

This is a projection, aka what I'm planning to take next year if my schedule actually WORKS (hasn't yet - too many stupid kids to create more than one class period for almost any AP science/math course).

Scientific Research & Design

AP/GT English III

AP Biology

AP Calc AB

AP Chemistry

AP US History

Physics I Pre-AP

French III Pre-AP

Speech/AP Econ

My junior year schedule will hopefully be:

Chemistry 1 Honors
Algebra 3/Discrete Mathematics Honors
AP English Language and Composition
AP United States History
French 4 Honors
Two-Dimensional Art
Introduction to Philosophy Seminar

Why would people take more than 8 classes? Is it required, or something? I'm just curious.

(Speaking for myself...)

Zero-hour courses are usually more specialized and quicker-paced than regular courses due to more interested teachers and more motivated students (being school'd at 7:30 am isn't really a favorite thing for most kids, if you know what I mean). The one I'm planning on is kind of a necessity for the Siemens and Intel competitions, which are nice things to have a bit of guidance for.

We don't have 0-hour :-(

Aye. We only have band for 0 period.

First to answer the OP's question, no I don't think it would look bad or shady, if you decided to take another language, especially since you aren't quitting the original language that you started with. Your schedule shows someone that is passionate about languages, even if it does mean going back to square one in a completely different language, you are taking a risk...hopefully colleges will see that and reward you for it..but anywayz, here is my schedule, since everyone seems to posting their schedules for junior year..it's not in order of class periods, because we don't get all that good stuff until the beginning of the next year's year..this is for next year's schedule (hopefully)

Junior year/Senior year (early graduate)-
1. AP U.S. History
2. Pre-Calculus Honors
3. AP Spanish V Literature
4. Chemistry Honors
5. AP English Literature and Comp.
6. Photography IV Honors/AP
7. Internship Program (counts as honors, because there is an application process and everything)
8. (SECOND SEMESTER) Intro to Computers @ the local community college (technology class is required for graduation, i have no passion for it, but it should be a breeze, luckily it won't be calculated into my GPA)

1) Physics (Honors)
2) AP English Comp
3) Pe - Health
4) AP US History
5) Trig
6) Japanese III

This year I have:
IB English HL
IB Music HL (Jazz band also...)
IB Math SL
IB Spanish IV SL
IB Bio SL
IB History HL
Percussion

Projection:
AP Biology*
Physics H*
AP English 11*
AP Spanish*
AP US History*
Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry H*

I'm still trying to decide whether I should take Pre-Cal or Calculus. I could take Pre-cal over the summer, but I'm not exactly sure if I should.

Junior Year:

AP Language
AP US Hisotry
AP Environmental Science
AP Statistics
Honors French 4
Photography
Theatre Arts 4

Heh, almost the same situation with silentsailor: >>This is a projection, aka what I'm planning to take next year if my schedule actually WORKS (hasn't yet - too many stupid kids to create more than one class period for almost any AP science/math course).<< My county does not allow anyone who isn't a junior/senior to take AP classes, but it applies to honors.

English 11 Honors (AP English is for seniors only)
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics
AP US History
Japanese III (hopefully independent study)
Programming Honors (and dual credit) (probably independant study)
1 undecided (possibilities: AP Stats, AP Chemistry, French II, Spanish II, Chinese I, German I, Latin I, wood shop, CAD, one of the plethora of newly added art classes)
