Junior Year Classes/Advice

Hello!
I’m currently a sophomore in high school getting ready to choose classes for my junior year.

What my plan is to take:
-DE English aka ENC1101/1102 or maybe AP Lang(I do good in English but it stresses me out so much)
-DE College algebra and trigonometry
-Anatomy/Physiology Honors
-AP US History
-AP Spanish
-Digital photography 3
-Possibly Chemistry 2 honors (it’s a new class that might not be available)

And this year I’m taking:
-English 3 honors
-Algebra 2 honors
-Chemistry 1 honors
-World history honors
-Spanish 4 honors
-Digital photography 2
-Drivers ed

Is this too much/too little for junior year? I haven’t taken any AP/college level courses yet, just honors courses so far… mostly because I wanted to keep my unweighted GPA looking good (I’ve had a 4.0 unweighted and 4.2 weighted for a couple years now and about top 4% in my class). Also, because I just didn’t think I was ready for the AP histories or AP biology. But I know next year I have to push myself for college applications (the main colleges I’m looking to get into are UF, USF, or UCF). I’m a pretty studious and perfectionistic person when it comes to school but I’m struggling a little with my next year decisions and don’t want to overload myself junior year but still want to push myself somewhat (I’m not sure how many APs I can handle). I also plan to continue the 2 clubs that I’m in right now/join more (Keyclub and sophomore advisory board), no sports for me… Also, start a babysitting job and/or shadow jobs I’m interested in… I’m kind of clueless of my future career but I’m leaning toward the medical field a bit. I’m basically asking for any opinions of my plan for next year/experiences with certain classes and advice? This has really been stressing me lately and my decision has to be made in a week or two… so I’d love to hear any of your thoughts! Thank you

That sounds like a good mix of classes. My junior year I took AP Calculus AB, AP Lang, AP Gov/AP Micro, Physics Honors, and four unweighted art electives. I have been accepted to FSU, UCF, and UNF (didn’t apply to UF or USF). If you push yourself next year and continue with your extracurriculars, you’ll be absolutely fine.

One suggestion - If you’re not certain you want to commit entirely to chem, I would take Physics Honors if it is available over Chem 2 Honors
