My current sophomore courses are:
ENglish
Spanish
PE
Honors Chem
Honors PreCalc
AP Euro

Last semester I got B's on all weighted ourses but this semester I am getting all As I am planning to take engineering major and my aim colleges are UCLA, USC, UCSD,CMU
I am planning the following courseload for junior year:
AP Lit
AP Calc AB
AP Statistics
Physics
US History
Principles Of Engineering

I am planning to take AP Bio or AP Physics senior year depending on if I want to major in BioMedical Engg.

Some people suggest that I should take AP Bio in my junior year instead of AP Stats, but I want to keep all As and not sure if I can earn an A in AP Bio. If I am taking AP Science course senior year, and not junior year (though I am taking Physics junior Year), will it affect my chances for engg at above colleges?

Thanks.

Does your school offer AP Physics? If it does, that could be an option for you. I think that either way, you have a pretty strong course load, but physics, from my understanding, seems to be valued a little bit more in the engineering field.

Yes my school offers AP Physics which I may take in my senior year. I want to know if it is important for the colleges to see the AP Science course at junior year or it is okay to take the AP Sciences for senior year?

My son is a junior and has learned the hard way – he should have protected his GPA this year.

I think your planned courses look great. It is not necessary to have an AP science since you are exchanging for 2 sciences (Physics & Engineering). BUT - Some engineering schools will require SAT II Physics. Make sure the course is honors level or strong enough to get you a good score without a lot of additional self-study.
