Junior Year Dilemma

Hello everyone, I am a sophomore (2015) at a very competitive high school in the state of North Carolina. I have narrowed my colleges down to UNC-CH and NCSU; I know I could get into North Carolina State, but i really aspire to become a Tar Heel one day. This is where my problems is:

(Background Info)
White, 16 y/o male
Weighted GPA: Not sure, but i'm well in the top 25% of my class
Unweighted GPA: ~3.7
E.C.: very little as it stands (Varsity Football and Track), but i will really load up on them during the next two years of high school.

As it stands, my Junior year schedule is:

Honors Spanish IV
Honors Chemistry
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP English Language
AP United States History
AP Statistics
AP U.S. Government & Politics

This is my ideal schedule and am overjoyed with it; however, one of the main EC's i wan to take is FBLA, and in order to join that club you must enroll in their business curriculum. Even though i will major in business, it frustrates me that i have to take these stupid classes, which really are just blow off classes for seniors, to join FBLA. I know that if i were to take FBLA, I would definitely be an officer, but i don't want to change my schedule.

Sorry for the length, but what would you do in my situation? Also, what are my chances of being a Tar Heel one day?

Please chance me back. I am the Michigan Ross thread.

I think you should get your GPA up. Your classes are fine. And try and get a good test score too. I am also considering applying to UNC.
You have a decent shot

I also live in NC and have seen people with much worse stats get into chapel hill. Assuming your grades are decent (As and Bs) you will be fine. At my school top 10% usually get in but I think that might just be due to my school not being the very best. Chapel Hill has to take 80% of their students from in state so you should be fine.
