you're not the only one, i'm having a tough time as well..that's why they call it..junior yr-one of the toughest..mind boggling..yrs of highschool..this is when u start getting undereye bags nd grey hairs lol

ugh.. just got my spanish test grade online.. 70.. that makes my grade to be 71 avg :

It's not that bad for me right now, except Reading Literature requires an buttload of reading on almost a daily basis.

I promise you that senior year will be better. Maybe not better in grades, but a lot richer in hope that there will someday be an end to high school.

You know, maybe we all need to complain once in a while. It's kind of a way to stay sane. So here's mine:
Next Thursday, I will have 4 tests, and I only have 6 classes. I need to read 50 pages in my Psychology book and 50 pages in my Biology book. My grades are quasi-OK now, but I have no idea what will happen after all the tests put in. (I am a senior)

I rather go back to Junior year, actually. It was better.

mmm. i agree. so if as a senior i get a c or b- in ap physics, will colleges hate me?

There is no amount of money in the world that would make me go back a year in high school.

The only thing that sucks about my junior year is that AP Calculus isn't as easy as I'd hope it'd be. :(

senior year sucks even worse...

you're telling me
i just completely failed a spanish test. and i dont even mean like a D. im talking about getting EVERY SINGLE question wrong because my stupid teacher never even taught me anything useful!

my average in apush is averaging on a C (although it's to be expected b/c you need time to get used to the course. well, i do, anyways)

my latin grade isnt what i'd like it to be (B-)

and my biology teacher has no idea what's going on with the world.

ugh. i just need to rant. badly.

Junior year is designed to suck.
We all went through it.

deal with it! yeah. believe me, senior year is just as amazing! i'm having a great time! i love high school!

hmph I feel like junior year wouldn't suck so much if there were no standardized tests to deal with because you're "done". lol. My parents tried to get me to be "done" with testing-SATI by fall of Junior year. How great that worked out. =.= It's ok... I have to get into the swing of things like (2nd quarter last year) and be speedy... tis' hard. EVERY FRIGGIN CLUB takes up so much invisible time.... ::sigh:: I'm only part of one and a half.

Yes... Junior Year sucks a big one.

First semester Senior Year sucks more.

ohh man, we're gonna have to study our asses off BIG TIME to get those grades up to As. Who's with me?

Yea, junior is very difficult. I am having a pretty hard time right now. But I learned to put limits. I make sure to always hang out with friends on weekends, and relax everyday. By all means though, that doesnt mean give up. Try all you can to get help and to understand material. Set realistic goals, and above all make sure your happy. And I know about setting goals from experience- Rank 43 to Rank 10 by becoming #1 in 10th grade. Straight A's are not everything. High School and College are supposed to be the best years of your life, so dont waste it.

It's not only junior year, but eh, it depends - I don't have a sympathy for anyone (including myself) who has bad grades because he/she CHOSE the difficult classes to load up and all those EC's and stuff to do, then says, "OMG IM SO BUSY MY..life!! it's so difficult!" There are a couple instances, rarely where parents make their kids take really difficult courses, even that's a bit sketchy but I guess more understandable.

We'll just have to live with it or fix it. I think I've said this already, but I as a soph have 2 C-'s and a B-. (which borders on 2 D's and a C).

OMG seriously... I hate this year too. I went in thinking I'd come out with a 4.0, but my current grades are:

AP English: A
Honors Algebra 3/Trig: C- (eek)
College Level Anatomy: D+ (double eek)
History: A-
AP Chemistry: B-
Honors Spanish 4: B+

^^^^I'm so entirely screwed.. I have no idea if I can revive myself before the semester is over. And to make matters worse, I've been studying, doing all the assignments, and being a good boy in class, but I still get punished with these horrible grades.
I can't WAIT until Cross Country is over and I can start studying more.

I am EPIC ASIAN FAILING my classes this year. IB is unimaginably difficult.

IB Math HL: A
IB European History HL: A
IB Biology HL: B
IB English HL: C- (I have never worked SO HARD for SUCH A LOW GRADE)
IB Physics SL: C (but there's only 2 things in the grade book so far...)
IB French SL: D+ (je detest la classe de francaise)

1st year of IB, plus extracurriculars, plus my job... I am super stressed.
I never thought IB could possibly be this hard. When I got my English essay back with a D-, I literally just broke down and sat on the floor. I worked so hard on that essay, but I still get a D-! The sad thing is, other people atleast have C's or B's in that class! I have gotten less than 6 hours of sleep ever since the second week of school, and I think it's affecting my writing, nothing I am writing is making sense.

**** my life.
