Thank you in advance!!

you should have a decent chance of getting in–they accept a good percentage of transfer applicants.

However, be aware that WFU is extremely picky about accepting credits. You will need to send a syllabus from every single class you took at SUNY Albany, so make sure you can get those syllabi now! When you send your application, ask if you can check to see how many of your credits will transfer over to see if you can graduate in 4 years.

A syllabus from EVERY class…? Including the classes I took my freshman year? Wow, well that’s a bit absurd. I should probably get on that as soon as I get back to school then. Although it’s good to know that they accept a good amount of transfer. Yeah, I definitely want to stay on the 4year track; money is kind of tight for me. Do you know their average transfer GPA? And do they recognize upward trends? sem 1 (3.12) sem 2 (3.34) sem 3 (3.8)

I’ve been told they recognize upward trends, though I’m not sure what the average GPA is. And yes, every class, if you wanted credit, needed to have some sort of syllabus. It was ridiculous, but it’s their policy. I think they should advertise that fact much better on the website.

@nopsypoo - While getting all of the syllabi is a bit tedious, it has to do with the fact that Wake values it academic integrity. I agree with Wneckid99 and must warn you that some of your credits may not be accepted if they do not match up with Wake courses. Great advice from that post.

Also, I noticed that your major does not directly match up with a Wake major (BEM and Finance are separate). Also, you would probably still need to apply to the business school after taking accounting (although I am not 100% sure of the policy on transfer students). I am not certain that you would still be able to graduate in 4 years. You should definitely contact admissions and ask them about this.
