Grades are in. Richmond/Bentley/UNC/UMD transfer

Also, I got waitlisted at bentley when I applied to transfer after my freshman year. My gpa was a 3.23 at the moment. Can applying twice make me look like a better candidate?

Thank you in advance!!

bump…

can anyone give me some advice? I really want to transfer and just want to see if this could potentially be a reality rather than a far fetched dream.

I think my final list is UNC-CH (Kenan-Flagler eventually) U. of Richmond, Bentley University, and Wake Forest U (FINANCE MAJOR) I want to go into m&a or FA. If you need more info, just ask and I’d gladly provide.

Richmond is pretty easy to transfer into. The school has around 40-60 spaces available each year, but the best transfer applicants (who are accepted first) often decide to go to better schools they also applied to, so people on the waitlist have a second chance at acceptance. As a Richmond freshman myself, I plan on transferring out.

Even with your vast improvements, getting in will be hard with a little higher than a B+ average, but I recommend trying anyway. Being a racial minority will help a lot.
