A couple B+'s in AP level courses will NOT kill your chances,
and it's clear from your rank that you are near
the top of your class.. top 5%...
For those AP classes, how did you do on the AP exams?
A B+ with a score of 5 is different than a B+ with a score of 3.
A B+ with a 5 might be interpreted as being a challenging class with a
teacher with real grading standards...

In any case, there is nothing you can do about it now, right?
Focus on doing well first semester senior year.

Heh. I got a 3 on apush...
The teacher did have real grading standards (one of the hardest in the school), it was my own fault for not taking the time to prepare for the exam... I admit that was a bad move on my part.

I am in your shoes, Tawny. But, I got Bs- no pluses or minuses- in BOTH APs and honors (weighted equally with APs). Yeah, I know-it is really bad. My school has a very tough grading scale and standards- my brother and I used to be amazing students until we stepped into high school. Everything was damn hard, and everyone was so competitive. I got 4s on APs as well as 600+ on one SAT (not my subject but I got a 4 on AP exam) and 700+ on two SATs. My SAT score is over 1400 if it helps. Right now, I am working extremely hard to maintain As in my senior year- I am thinking of sending the first quarter grades (if it is too much-tell me). Will colleges be okay with this situation?

Yeah wow_98, I would like to send my quarter grades as well... anyone have input on doing this?

I know they will be A's in very hard courses (issues from last year will not be existing, i assume), so I'd like to reinforce to colleges that I am capable...

A+ in AP Calculus.....BOOOHOOO! I am suffering in that class! My teacher is a madddddd women and I cannot manage that class with a TRILLION other AP courses!
