<p>in an essay ,do you think I have to write :</p>
<p>I want to be an engineer that contributes to society</p>
<p>or "engineer that contributes to the society"</p>
<p>Common usage with be “engineer that contributes to society”</p>
<p>I have only see foreign student write “contributes to the society”</p>
