Just Curious

I've been furiously searching for some schools in the past few months, just to get a head start.
I'm a junior in a public high school in the suburbs of Pittsbugh.
I would love to not be TOO far away from home, but as long as I could drive home in a day, it'd be fine.
I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for my search and application.

ACT Composite: 32 (Took it early junior year. Planning on taking it again.)
Class Rank: Top 5%
I've gotten all A's in advanced and AP classes that have been on my path, except for 9th grade geometry.

I'm president of my school's 'Literary Guild,' participate in plenty of clubs, have over 100 hours of community service, did HOBY (which supposedly means something during this process) and lead church music alone, every weekend. I've been playing the piano since I was five, and the guitar since I was about eleven.

My dad went to Harvard, but that's pretty much my only hook anywhere.

I feel that I have a pretty good personality and will do extremely well in an interview. I love discussing music and literature with friends, and love hanging out in bookstores.

Any suggestions? Anything is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ok, so you’re obviously a humanities person. Your ACT is already great so if you improve it to a 34ish you’re looking at Ivies quality… If you do something EC-wise over the summer that’s impressive I think you’ll get into at least one (with a high score). Also, I think you’d be a perfect candidate for schools like Middlebury, Amherst, Kenyon… which are all LACs and besides Kenyon… in the NE. Good luck!
