Do people at your school think people who can solve Rubiks Cubes(At least under a minute) are very intelligent people?

Sigh, I remember when I thought Rubiks Cubes were impossible, Ha.

Sigh, I remember when I thought Rubiks Cubes were impossible, Ha.

they frustrate me. an old friend of mine can do his very quickly, like 1:30. nonetheless, i'm pretty sure I'm smarter than him. It just takes practice I guess. Or I just ahve an inflated ego

Don't take this offense but, 1:30 is extremely sloooow.

I think it's just cool to watch if they figure it out themselves.

But there are tricks to solving it; there's a pattern that's pretty easy to remember. I have friends who just know the pattern, and that, I think, it a bit dissapointing.

There is no particular pattern (Repetition of movements) that automatically solves the cube. I think you mean when the cube is in its solved state, a pattern move will cause the cube to be resolved.

I could be wrong, but I do think that there is a pattern. I'll ask the friends tomorrow.

Ok, your friends most likely utilize the beginners method judging from your previous posts.

Nope. In fact, we scold ANY person that MENTIONS the word Rubix and/or Cube in a sentence.

Interesting.

My friends can't spell Rubik's Cube...

Don't you just use an algorhythm (or however you spell that)...? I don't think it's that conducive of intelligence.

Erm, I can't solve a Rubik's Cube...And I haven't tried learning how...

They are VERY frustrating...Maybe I'll learn from that video. Thanks!

That video shows you the beginners method for the record.
