Just Finished 10th Grade...now what?

Hello,

Tomorrow's the last day of 10th grade for me. With all the grades in, I'd really appreciate some review of my chances for the Ivy Leagues. My dream school is MIT, and other schools that I'm looking at are Yale, Harvard, Cornell, Brown, UPenn (but mainly UPenn ;) ).

I just wanted to see how I'm doing throughout my high school journey. I would like to know what I should improve; any suggestions, comments, or criticism would be nice.

EDIT: I should add on that I'm an Asian male (affirmative action woohoo), and that I have a sibling dynasty at MIT

The way your going so far, I think you’d have an average shot at top tier schools like MIT and ivies.

You’re ECs are pretty good, though none stand out as particularly amazing. Your GPA is spectacular, but without an SAT score I can’t say for sure where you stand. However, focus on keeping you GPA up and a rigorous schedule and you won’t have to worry.

Come back towards the middle or end of junior year. Don’t stress yourself with chance Me’s now because you are not even 1/2 way done with high school. Also, affirmative action usually works more in favor of blacks, Hispanics, and native Americans. Statistics have shown that they generally work against Asians. Not trying to be racist, but it happens
