Applying to:
UCSD
UCLA
UCB
Stanford SCEA (deferred...)
Harvard
Princeton
MIT
Columbia
UPenn Wharton

deferred from Stanford, tough dude.

UCs definitely; UPenn likes that Math II 800 +1 there.

Everything else is a crapshoot.
You will probably get into Columbia

***, 2400 on SAT 1, 2400 on SAT 2, valedict, good recs, ecs, awards, deferred from Stanford????

anyways u got really good shots everywhere. You're IN for UC's

I can't believe that Stanford deferred you. You definitely have great chances at any college.

More California Asians apply to Stanford than the other top schools...Your chances are better for the Eastern schools.

HYP: Match
UPenn Wharton: Match

2400 + Valedictorian is statistically a match, and since you have good other stuff along with those, I think you'll do just fine.

thanks for the responses so far... bump? ^^

What the hell is Go?

Ivies are unpredictable

In at the UC's

Stanford ... maybe

MIT ... doubt it

Go (board game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

maybe not MIT but everything else
oh and some guy in my school got into stanford, with no ECs, probably top 10% (maybe), and 2300

is there something about me that makes me less favorable for MIT?

no international math/physics awards maybe?
haha jk. but being an asian male is gonna hurt you a lot...it brings your chances down to like 1%

umm... its really hard to say..... nowadays when Ivys look at an applicant with perfect SATs and 4.0 UNWEIGHTED, theyll be thinking, WT* heres another ASIAN kid who did nothing but study his entire high school years, one reason i stopped the SATs after getting a 2280....

everyone of my friends with ur stats didnt get their choice schools..........

but ur ECs should probably help balance it out, if what u wrote is true.......

and yea, like me, being an asian doesnt help at all, it even lowers ur chances......

Great Stats. Stanford is rediculous.

i took special care in my essays to emphasize the social/human aspect to me... i made it a priority to show balance in my application

In for UCs. No gurantee on the Ivies no matter how good you are, but you have a great chance.

I'll never understand the folks who still need chances after application submissions........

I'll cry if you're not accepted because that just proves the sad, sad reality we live in.

thank you very much for the responses guys; i've just been very doubtful since stanford got back to me :P. hope you all have a fantastic new year, and best of luck to everyone on their admissions!

if all those u listed are real, just improve on your essay and u can get into most of the schools listed. Good luck/
