hey all i was recently accepted to tulane university's science engineering program but i was wondering the current state of the university and if it would be worth pursuing..i know tulane is a great school especially for my intended premed direction that im looking to go..i was just wondering how much the university was effected by hurricane Katrina??
thanks so much :)

I thought Tulane was getting rid of it's engineering programs?

yah i thought to..I dont know y people r returning/going. its depressing

Well, not all of New Orleans was completly destroyed. That's a scenario that was overplayed by the media.

people are returning because the university is beautiful and is one of the finest institutions in the country...tulane kept 2 engineering majors and the campus and the surrounding area is in excellent condition, the only areas that you would even be able to tell there was a hurrican are in theareas tulane students never went to unless they were going for comm service, i went for a visit and i am now going, and can't wait
