Just got back from Harvard...

...and it was AMAZING.

There really isn't a point to this thread except to say that I love Harvard. :)

I was up there for my official visit for track, so if anybody has any questions about what i saw or what my impressions were, feel free to post! I stayed overnight and sat in on 2 classes, ate at various places, went to various clubs, had a brief interview, and was taken on an unofficial tour by my host and her friends. It was AWESOME.

:D

Which dorm did you stay in?

I was in Lowell, though i did get to spend some time in Wigglesworth. (< i love that name :))

Tell us more! :) :)

I'm glad you liked it. Wigglesworth? There are so many other dorms! "Getting wiggy with it." :-)

(F.Y.I. I'mnot in Wigglesworth this year).

there is no need to see any dorm other than wigglesworth, because it is clearly the best

what classes did you see?

Justforgetme is so right about Wiggs. Tis the best.

lol!!! I did like Wigglesworth :)

I saw a lecture about Mesoamerica (sort of boring, I won't lie) and an amazing lecture - Intro to Psych with Professor Wolf, who was absolutely hilarious

Wolf isn't even the best psych lecturer here (I think Pinker + Gilbert are both better)

Psych department: Dan Wegner all the way! Not that I've had Pinker, Gilbert, or Wolf--my boyfriend hated Wolf, and I've heard bad things about Pinker, but I'm really annoyed that I won't ever get to take a class with Gilbert.

Was the Mesoamerica lecture by William Fash? Just out of curiosity?

truthfully, i'm not sure i ever heard his name... he had a beard, and he seemed really nice...

Did ya see Prez Summers?

You should have seen Korsgaard's lecture on Kant's Ethical Theory.
