Hi All-
I was just offered admission off the wait list on Friday, and I have until next Friday to decide on whether to take the offer or not. I'm flying down to Princeton Tuesday night and I'll get there weds. morning (Redeye+Stayover in Chicago=not good). Anyway, I was hoping to be able to stay in the dorms and get more of a feel of the campus, but a call to the admissions office revealed that not only are there no more hosting programs, classes have ended as well. So I guess I'm posting here to see if anyone has any ideas on how to contact anyone who would be willing to host me, as I unfortunately don't know any current students at Princeton.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Same story for me except I am in driving distance. I also will be there on Wednesday.

Push the admissions office a little harder to find you a host. You'll be here in the middle of exams, so pretty much everyone will be on campus. I'd find it hard to believe that they can't find anyone for you to stay with.

Bgold1, ivyleaves, are you female or male?

Gahhh...The only person I know at P-ton is female and I want to visit too.

Male, I'll give the admissions office another push tommorow but whoever I spoke with today was not very helpful and a bit rude.

If you let them know where else you were accepted, and that you have been accepted off the waitlist and YOU REALLY LOVE PRINCETON that might help:).

I'm Male from Long Island

What did you think of your visit to Princeton. We were just there last weekend..absolutely beautiful!!

My roomates are moving out so if you need a place before saturday- pm me.

warning: Its the second week of exams so a third of the student body has gone home or in the process of packing up so don't expect to see much life on campus

Kjoodles, welcome back to the board. So tell us, have you liked it there?
