oh woops lol...but yea, libraries should go ok :o

So tired...lol. Nearly gave my mom a heart attack driving on the 405 but hey, she didn't want to. =P

Lolz, So how was it? learn anything new or cool?

Umm it was all right. Okay, I didn't see anyone from CC. :[ But there were a lot of people. They had some decent refreshments though. :]

I spoke with a faculty member in the College of Letters and Sciences about my major. o: And some UCD students who told me the campus was really safe. And this lady who had all 3 of her daughters attend UCD. Overall, it was kinda a UCD advertising campaign. xD But, they did talk about orientation and housing and placement exams, which was informative.

oo, so anything significant on housing and exams? I'm still not so well-informed on either.

:o im surprised no one from CC crossed paths

I'll get back to you on housing, my head is kinda swimming with info right now. xD

But for placement exams, the guy said that the Analytical Writing Essay will be held soon at our respective high schools and that it's a UC requirement overall, not specific to UCD. He recommended taking placement exams in foreign language, either to get out of them at UCD or to determine what level you're at. Umm...for chem (you may use calculators lol) you can get out of it if you scored a 5 on the AP exam. Pre-calc (you may not use calculators) you can get out of (I think) if you scored a certain number on your SATs/SAT IIs. He said to check online for specific exams and how AP/SAT scores correlate with placement. That's the gist of it though.

Well darn, looks like I'm still taking Chem and Calc placement tests then :
