I never took AP chem so...me too. =/ We take those during Orientation. The only one we don't take is the Writing, which he said should be in April or May, can't remember. And if you can't take it then, you can take it when fall semester starts I think.

Analytical writing huh...wonder what we...analyze xD

Freshmen: Advanced Placement :)

wooo i actually get credit for my AP World at UCD :D

o wai...that's for Letters and Science :'(

What majors did you all choose?

Psychology major here :O ANYONE ELSE DOING PSYCH? I feel so lonely..

Animal Sci major, Art Hist + Art Studio minor

International Relations + Environmental Policies

:] College of Letters and Science.

Ani Biology atm, changing by Winter quarter to:

Animal Science

maybe a minor/ or double-major in Environmental Studies (depending on how much courses i can handle and if the majors have a lot of overlap courses)

btw Edible, join EEB Club :D
EEB Club - Davis Wiki

speaking of clubs, cfsae, I hear there is a Pre-Vet club :D

Anyone in Letters and Science? I won't see you guys on Orientation day if you're all bio or ag.

o: EEB club looks exciting.

Yea it does! Can't wait to go on those hikes they promise. The scenery is amazing :D

LOL. I'm joing EEB too! ES is very interesting...maybe a third minor? LOL. I'm pushing my 225 credits XD

wooo~ lol 3rd minor?! Just keep your other majors and study ES through EEB for enjoyment :3

anyone else thinking of joining Polo Club?

I thought if you're in the third year of a language class you don't have to take it.

Do you have to have a horse? Cause I don't

@GlueEater

I think placement test criteria are different for each.

Nope horses are provided by the club, unfortunately because of the upkeep im guessing, the payment is 300/quarter :\ dunno, may still be worth trying :D

You might also want to try the most popular intramural at UC Davis (and invented at UC Davis) inner tube water polo. I hear the trick is to try not to drown the horse. ;)

Isn't Davis on a semester system? 300/quarter?

Davis is on the quarter system. The only UC's that use semesters are UCB and UCM.
