Bit disappointed in them. I'm a straight A student usually. Got 3A* 7A at my GCSE. Intend on majoring in Economics.

I underachieved slightly. Achieved ABBB.

A= Economics
B = Maths, History Physics

Maths and History were very high Bs and it was only one unit I had messed up in. I intend on retaking them and am pretty confident of putting them up. On top of that, I've got my whole second year of A Levels to go where I could boost grades up. I'm even confident of retaking one history unit and boosting it up.

My question is, how will this affect my admission into US universities? If I'm intending on applying to top unis, will they know that the Bs are high Bs and that I'm intending on retaking them? Do they even accept resits? The next exam cycle is not till January, I don't get results till Feb-March, so obviously too late for US admissions, but how do I let them know this? I'm also given a predicted grade, I'm assuming, I can use that on my application as well?
