Just looking for outside opinions...

Hi, I am a senior who has already applied to the following colleges plus some safeties:

Duke
Northwestern
Stanford
UPenn
UCLA
USC
Berkeley

GPA: 3.45 uw, 3.95 w 10-12,3.24 uw, 3.74 w 9-12 (bad freshman yr), upward trend
Rank: 20/~750, top 3%
SAT: 2120 (620 M, 760 W, 740 R)..school avg is about ~1500 total
Taken nearly all honors/AP offered 13/18 I think. Also took two cc classes and received A's.
AP scores: AP Euro (3), APUSH (4), AP Eng Lang (5)
I believe I have good LoRs & everyone says my essays are beautiful. I have ECs, leadership, awards, and community service. My counselor wrote about my circumstances (low income, single parent).
Hooks: Black, ~1/8 Native American

Do you guys think my GPA will kill me, or if my rank and test scores will help offset it? Thanks.

hmm this is a tough one cause ur gpa and SAT are low (but there is an upward trend), ur hook is good. if ur essays are beautiful and u have all the stuff u say u have and if ur counselor can write about that I think u have a chance. UCLA, USC are guaranteed yes. UPenn and Stanford will be tough. Northwestern and Duke u have shots at.

Thank you for your input.
