So, I got off the waitlist today (yay!) but before I make my final decision, I was wondering… since I will be getting all my freshmen info later than most, will I have a worse choice for housing/classes?

I think in terms of housing you’re probably not in good shape – I would guess it would mean you would be in a triple room, at least temporarily.

Considering that course selection information just went out to regular admits, you’re probably not behind there.

Housing I can’t attest to, and I don’t think anyone can. You might be tripled up for the first week or two of school or you might not at all. The might have tripled up people at the beginning instead.

You are not behind at all on course registration. You don’t actually get registered until orientation (and none of the orientation dates have started yet). The forms that just got sent out to the regular admits are really just a preference before they meet their advisor and devise a four-year plan.

Hope to see you soon at AU :)
