Just out of curiosity...

what school would establish the best job connections in Detroit? Would it be U of Michigan? Or somewhere like Northwestern? Or possibly a HYPSM?

Bumpbumpbump

Detroit has jobs now?

^^^

LOL…funny…but really not funny.

That remark does not help me one bit…

Ok…

We need more info…

What are your stats?

Are you instate for Mich?

What is your major and likely career?

Is money no object?

I am not from the Detroit area, but I think it would be a good guess that UofM (and then probably MSU) would have the strongest ties to employers in the area. You will find a lot more alumni of the local schools than from elite schools from further away.

This wasn’t really so much a chance thread, I’m just looking for the school with the strongest alumni connections in Detroit (I have my reasons). I’m thinking something environmental, but I really dig organic chemistry so who knows, I might want to be a doctor.

I was thinking that would be the case. Of private schools, would ones in Chicago (e.g. Northwestern, UChicago) be the best bet? I’m not really digging University of Detroit Mercy.
