<p>9 lbs and a 2 GHz Core 2 for $799? Maybe some students really need such a powerful graphics card, but I think most would be better served by a more portable laptop with better battery life (I can’t imagine this laptop gets better than 3 hours, even with the 9-cell, but I don’t know for sure).</p>
<p>Seems like an older model since it uses Core 2 Duo (and p45 chipset) and 9800gts… but still its ok if you want to do gaming. That’s assuming you don’t care about battery life or the huge size. Though if you are a student, I strongly recommend something more portable + better battery life.</p>
