:) Ye. Its good that you're not maniacally reacting to that...hehe...like others on some of these threads...ppl being called arrogant.....not good...

It got awefully quiet. Is anyone there or is our adrenaline not in the blood anymore? the after-test reaction gone?

no... i meant answers... and no that wasn't what i was looking for, not the answer, what was the question...

Someone mentioned the morula, blastula question earlier on (like way earlier on) and said that the division was mitotic. However, there was the zygote one-celled thingymabob and then the next picture was of two UNEVEN cells. So wouldn't it have to be equal for it to be mitotic? Does anyone remember what I'm talking about?

The plant question? it just cell enlargement

No, it was the question before that..the choices were like, mitotic division, meiotic division, budding, fragmentation...

i put.....meiotic division

i put differentiation, because it was after that, that specific parts of the "fruit" were created... didn't the question kind of give away the answer that it was a flowering plant? saying fruit is... um... haha

wait, was this ecology? cus i took molecular

Oh and basilar membrane was the answer to the ear question..
"The sensation of pitch is a function of the location of the vibration on the the basilar membrane." http://www.hitl.washington.edu/scivw/EVE/III.A.2.Auditory.html

I don't know, I really hope they didn't expect us to be so analytical about the diagram. I mean, typically mitosis takes place during cleavage; that's what I thought they were looking for.

yes, angiosperms definitely undergo mitosis from the zygote-->embryo-->morula, but i'm still perplexed as to why they would draw it so unequally. That totally threw me off for what the other question about what it could be..I wanted to put floweing plant because it said fruit, but then I got confused and blaaaahhhhghharohsoethoehaaahhh.
What was the answer to the DDT question?

what was the auxin + kin... thing like in a human disease? cancer?

CANCER INDEED... i'll still differentiation... cleavage = determination

DDT is found in higher trophic levels: biological magnification.

what was the fertilization/menstruation about? Someone please refresh my memory.

does fertilization occur in the fallopian tubes?

lets just agree to disagree

yeah, fertilization occurs in the oviduct/fallopian tubes, but wasn't there another question of some kind?

i dunno i put that the vaginal lining breaks down once a month but some people said that the right answer was that the egg gets fertilized in the fallopian tube
