what did you think?

i did the kaplan book so i thought it was easy... except i already know i got one problem wrong ... i had left it blank but then last moment i just decided to randomly guess... and tadaa wrong answer.

wasn't too bad, took E instead of M at last minute and don't reallly know why...anyone remember answers?

we can't discuss answers until later

i though it was pretty easy except for a select few questions. E seemed very straight forward.

took M... what was the food chain one with the kyotes (sp?).. it started with grass and ended with fleas right

yes that is what i got.
i thought the set of questions on the lactose graph was exceedingly difficult

i decided to choose at the last moment b/c last night when i took my final 2 practice tests, e was only lower than m by like 20-30 points and it looks better because of the percentiles... and then i looked through the test and got confused.... and plus the proctors in my room were uberstrict... and i wasn't sure if i was allowed to like change which test to take after seeing the questions... grr anyone know like when we're allowed to discuss specific questions?

i got that for the fleas/seeds too... wasn't sure what fleas ate...
yeah the molecular section was a bit... weird... i thought it'd be more of like direct questions with like one lab experiment...
and tsk tsk.... discussing answers?

oh lighten up.. freedom of speech *****

the M was a pain in the ass... I didn't want to read through it... anyone remember any other questions?

Fleas are like saprophytes, they eat decaying matter (hence placed at the end, with seeds at the beginning), which would be the dead coyote, which was the correct answer.

I did better on E during the practice tests, however chose M today, looked much more familiar. (looked at the 1st question for E. . . polyploidy? ***?)

I remember a lot of the questions at this moment, we need to do this now, or do it on AIM (holla)

Left 4 blank, how about you guys?

One that I'm really dying to know is, what is a mushroom most closely related to?
oak tree
bacterium
yeast
moss
something else

what'd you guys put??

i think it was yeast b/c it's a fungi?? wait, is it? lol what about the one about conceiving and fertitily?

I put yeast.

Yeah I wasn't sure between yeast/moss, because moss is multicelluar, like fungi, yeast is single-celled, moss creates spores like the fungi and has haploid/diploid reproduction, while yeast simply reproduces by binary fission.

Argh

I think in PR it had the exact same question on one of the tests and it was yeast...

I always over-think these problems damn . . maybe i'll have to cancel ;(

lets see, did anyone do the question on Molecular about testing to see if the RNA protein is produced before creating galactisodase? what'd you guys put . . i said add rna inhibiting just before adding lactose

yeah, because moss is a bryophyte plant... even if it has similarities... and mold is a fungi... shrugs.

i put before adding glucose

you mean lactose?

yettthiiiir

yeah, that's what i put too
