<p>and I probably should have included more of that info in my original post as well as the fact that I've been "recruited" sort of, as in gotten special letters from Admissions or had application fees waivered for Georgetown, Trinity and Brandeis</p>
<p>however JHU is not notorious for their creativing writing.. they are known for being strong in medicine, however, i think you hold a good chance at getting in</p>
<p>Thank you, I appreciate that. In recent years they've been getting better, and I'm hoping that the fact that I'm applying for one of their less popular majors will give me a better shot. I also just really liked the campus and people at JHU. I really love the environment of Swarthmore, but they don't offer much in the way of writing classes (at least that was the impression I gathered). They're more Literature-oriented, and even in the writing classes they pull a lot from the Lit. courses. And maybe I should look into Fordham. I know they offer writing courses but I was under the impression that they were courses more for communications/journalism. Thank you for the suggestion, though. I'll check it out =)</p>
