Just Wondering: How Many AP Classes does your school offer?

19, so a good amount, luckily. However, the ap sciences all have the regular science as the prerequisite, which doesn’t seem to be the case for most schools.

Ie, before ap physics, you must take regular physics.

Actually that’s very common. I know that my school and the schools around me require them as prereqs, and I’ve seen that many other CCers have similar requirements. This year, one girl is in AP phys without taking phys as a prereq. She was only allowed to do this because she aced all of her math and science classes in past years.

Bio
Calc AB
Calc BC
Language
Literature
Euro
Econ (not sure which one)
Spanish
Studio Art
APUSH
Government

so 11 which is more than I thought we had.

None. Zilch.

Freshmen can’t even take Honors classes.

My school offers one: AP Gov and Politics. We are an IB school, so we have regular and honors for freshman and sophomore years (most sophomores take AP Gov for social studies) then regular, some honors, and IB course.

Whoops, we actually only have 20 at my school…

13 is a pretty good number for a school in a semi-rural area. Most of them are just for juniors and seniors, except World History, which is offered to sophomores. This is the first year it’s being offered, my junior year. Sigh…

7, but probably 8 in the next few years :)

Calculus AB (some kids self-study the BC part though)
US History
World History
Human Geography
Psychology
Computer Science
French
Biology in a few years :)

and this is a Canadian School :)

21

Zero as of now.

Four as of next year (Calc AB, English Lit, Stats, and Enviro)

10 AP classes. There are 7 AP classes that are offered online but no one really takes them. I think maybe 1 girl takes Statistics but that’s about it.

15 Total

Small city in Texas.

AP Environmental Science
AP World History
AP US History

AP Human Geography
AP Spanish IV
AP Spanish V
AP French IV
AP German IV

There are technically restraints on when you can take certain classes, but if you know the heads of the departments and they like you, you can do what I’m doing and load up on 6 a year, the only other limit is prerequisites such as Eng 3 before 4, but you can take Span 4 before 5. Pretty weird.

At my high school, the following 10 AP classes are offered:

[ul][]Calculus
[]English Language and Composition
[]English Literature and Composition
[]Environmental Science
[]Human Geography
[]Latin
[]Psychology
[]Spanish Language
[]U.S. History
[]World History[/ul]

Additionally, at a special dual-enrollment program open to all high school students in the county, these 21 AP classes are available (most students who choose to attend spend half a day at this program and the rest of the day at their ‘home’ school, it also offers CTE classes):

[ul][]Studio Art Drawing
[]Art History
[]Studio Art 2D
[]Studio Art 3D
[]Biology
[]Chemistry
[]Chinese Language and Culture
[]Computer Science A

So, in total, 31.
