that is a really BIG difference…

@Dork i thought u said u always scored way higher on Kaplan tests because they are easier all the time.

Yes I do. But it always correlates with the BB tests, so I guess the Kaplan scoring is more accurate ^

ANd I have no clue what the c*** PR is writing. I never am able to pass the 2000 mark on a PR

some more opinions from different people who used both would really help me… anyone here used the PR or Kaplan book and took the actual test, did anyone notice which helped them more?

Just get PR 11, I’ve heard better things about it between the two.

PR is terrible ^
It’s way harder than BB test. The writing section is really BAD (for me). I’m not sure if it’s super hard or I’m just sucking at grammar. I think it’s the former

^^ will don’t uou think that harder than the real thing is better than easier than the real thing ??
I mean , if you got good scores you’ll feel proud and you won’t work hard , and when you take the real thing you’ll ba amazed that your score is much less than you expected .
But when take harder exams you’ll try to work harder so that you reach your goal score , and in the real thing you’ll get a Really higher score than what you expected.

And BTW if you want one that really REALLY over-prepares you, go for Barron’s . It’s much more difficult than the real thing.

Barron is AMAZING. Get BARRON.

Sorry I totally forgot about barron. but barron is AMAZING! Forget kaplan or PR, BARRON!!!

I actually have the Barrons SAT book, and it only had 5 practice tests, and they really didnt help me that much at all, i mean i felt as if they were way too hard to actually help me with the actual test. If PR is a bit harder than the actual SAT, i dont mind it, as long as its not barrons hard. I think ill just go with PR 11.

^^ PR is defenetlly not as hard as Barron’s .

@Dork have you actually taken your first SAT yet? Just curious…

I’ve taken the BB tests. So yes I took the SAT before.

Ehh… Why not just get both and try them all out?.. That’s what I did… I think which one’s “better” is really opinionated…

I take the test in October, im not going to get 2 books full of practice tests in each now.
