I actually just started using it today. I've taken one test so far and I like it.

kaplan blows, the tests are way too easy compared to the real thing

I do worse on Kaplan simply because their tests are so stupid o_o

PR's 11 Practice Tests book is better IMHO.

Yeah, I've done 4 of the 12 tests so far. I think the CR/Writing is fine, but the Math is inaccurate. The explanations they offer are great though.

I agree that the explanations are really great, very detail,
I thought that the tests are very helpful, but I used it along with princeton review and Blue book.

kaplan sucks for SAT I, its easier than the real thing, and some of its answers are wrong~especially in math. i do think that kaplans is good for SAT subject tests tho

Kaplan for SAT...........eh!

I dont think Kaplan's questions are easier, I got only 600 on a practice CR Test when on the PSAT and all other practice tests it was in the high 600's/low 700s....In general I notice Kaplan has so many misspellings and weird questions that in my opinion only someone insane could write, that its questions simply do not correlate with english language or grammer, thus making it a piece of crap.

I counted and I have 45 practice SAT's from the Blue book and etc. waiting for me ....fun year this is going to be ^^

i've done:
12 Kaplan
11 PR
10 Sparknotes
8 College board

Here are my experiences:
Kaplan's 12 have a LOT of mistakes. A LOT. As in usually 1-2 mistakes in each practice test and they are really apparent especially for math. Princeton Review is more consistent and i would recommend that except for the CB book.

Don't get sparknotes. I dont know if anyone has done this book but what it does is it completely rips off CB. It changes the words around but leaves the structure exactly the same for the writing. so for example if the sentence was Susie played basketball but Johnathan played soccer. Sparknotes would write Samantha ate fruits but Steven ate candy. It does this completely for the writing and math and the reading passages it uses other passages. I'm surprised they haven't gotten sued yet.

I've also done the 2400 books from Kaplan and Barrons as well as the writing and CR books. I think those books give you the theory and technique for the test taking but it's really the practice that you need.

LOL RootBeerCaesar .... im having the same problem as you.. the questions are worded so bad.. like the 1st test.. u do well.. and the 2nd test.. u like bomb it.... the questions are sometimes irrelevant and confusing...
