Just so you know...Kaplan now has a book with 12 practice tests and explinations. Thats a lot of practice and kaplan has generally good practice (and there explinations are very good)! Even if your not a fan of kaplan, this book may help! It is another great way to practice practice practice (and I think kaplans tests are better than priceton review's)

I purchased the new SAT book from Kaplan, and, frankly, the book had excessive amounts of mistakes.
I have a question though: are synthetic tests valid or should students be discouraged from practicing with anything but CB tests?

I practiced out of Princeton Review's 11 Practice Tests and the real thing seemed a lot like it.

dude kaplan sucks!.....i worked the entire 2400 book...and honest to god...1/4 had a mistake...like for instance they wouldn't put the right answer in the choices...or they problem would be set up wrong so it would be unsolvable...it was horrible...i sent my book back in...i've lost all faith in kaplan :(

what is there left to believe in...

;)

Still...any practice at all is good (princeton reviews book has mistakes too). And I heard that the 2400 book was the worst book ever.

D'oh! I bought the 2400 book when it first came out.

kwyjibo: return it...im not exaggerating...there are SOOO many mistakes it is HORRIBLE.

Did any of you return the book?

omg that book is HUGE. it's a huge block of paper.
