Keeping that 3.5 GPA at Stern

Hey guys,
Is it difficult to get that 3.5 GPA at Stern? I want to major in Finance, so if I don't get that 3.5 will I be unemployed after I graduate from Stern?

Businessweek has the employment rate for Stern undergrads at 97% within 3 months... I don't think 97% of Stern students have above a 3.5 so I think you're good :)...maybe not though. but numbers definitely aren't everything--seems to be a general consensus

Yeah, I saw this stat on NYU's website. However, even though 97% got a job. I am worry that their pay may be as low as 40K. I mean Stern is expensive so I really want to pay off my loand within a year or two. Thanks!

Do remember that those stats cover ALL types of jobs, so the ones on the lower end of the range are likely marketing type jobs. The median starting salary in finance is $55-60k

but good luck getting a finance job with below a ~3.4
