Hi all! I have a question. So I’ve been in contact with the KWH for a year or two now and finally submitted my ED app to penn for the class of 2022! Yay. Anyways, I was sent an email by the writers house asking me to complete a survey. Is this considered recruitment? And if so, did anyone else get this email specifically? If anyone has any more info about this topic, please let me know-- thanks!

If you are receiving this message, you are on our list of prospective students for Penn’s class of 2022. As you know, we at the Kelly Writers House care a great deal about supporting writers who are considering Penn. We are writing now to ask you to complete a brief survey which will help us understand your interest in Penn as it relates to our community. You can find the survey here. Completion of this short survey should take less than fifteen minutes and it will aid our efforts to communicate with Admissions about promising writers. We apologize for the impersonal nature of this survey (and this email, for that matter!), but we hope you understand that this will ultimately help us support the candidacy of creative students. As you likely know, our input is just one factor out of many that are ultimately considered by Penn’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
