Kelly Writers House-- too late?

Hi everyone. I visited Penn last year when I was first looking at colleges, and then again when I was lucky enough to be a part of a conference on their campus. I love the campus and location (Philly is wonderful) but I was unsure about the “pre-professionalism” of the student body; that’s not really my vibe and it was a turn-off for me. That said, I am also a writer. I am super late to the game, but I recently looked on the Kelly Writers House website and fell in love with the community and all the amazing poets and storytellers who have come to that space. Am I too late to contact Jamie-Lee Josselyn and send her a writing sample of mine for Regular Decision? How does this process even really work? If I end up applying to Penn, I would definitelyyyy talk about the KWH in my Why essay, but would that seem invalid if I haven’t contacted her?
