Key to success?

I will excuse your CA upbringing, where you have doubtless come into contact with many South and East Asian immigrants who have come here with that belief, since in their home countries such beliefs were true.
We don't have CSATs and Gaokaos and Todai major entrance exams and Center Tests and JUEEs here, people! Leave that in Asia, along with the slew of hostess bars you men are trying to set up in southern California...
Alright, I must also add that one must be healthy and have a fully working brain, which is missing judging from some on the forum.

Motivation and the willingness to work hard, but also a balance of work and fun!

Knowing how to prevent self-burnout and repressing the temptation to overwork. I wonder how many workaholics are born in high school?

Many, I myself included.

Ah, you are back. Then I would like to ask how are you getting past it?

90% Inspiration And 10% Brains

Having the balls to crush others to get what you want...

and hard work.

Passion

Philanthropy

Ability to break through failures

Focus

Save 10% of your earnings for the rest of your life

Confidence (i think)

People, please. Success is relative. You can't define it until you've achieved it.

Information.

The knowledge of something that just might work in your way. Such as this forum, if you haven't found it, then you will lost many oppurtunities that might've come your way.

Go CC :D

Information is big, but there's also the matter of utilizing it.

"Strategic intelligence", sometimes, is very handy.

Take a look at how Bush manipulated and falsified as well as misanalyzed the "information" on Iraq. Information that is not correct or not analyzed correctly has no value. When it meets both criteria something good can be concluded from the results and interpreted elsewhere.

Determination, perserverence, conviction, congeniality, and a talent of some sort will make you successful one way or the other.

A place of reference is also needed to humble oneself once achieving success, for there is nothing worse than getting on a pedestal and crashing right down off of it.
