how do you do it?

how do you do it?

get motivated to do well in school, to study hard for exams, to aspire to attend a world class university.

what makes you motivated? :)

It's not so much that I want to succeed per se, but rather I just don't want to fail, so I just try to do everything the best that I can.

I have absolutely no motivation whatsoever. The only thing that spurs me slightly is thinking that I only have 2 more years, so if I do well in school I'm out of here. My parents don't care anymore, they expect good grades by now. Once 2nd semester hits me, I don't care anymore. It's one big pit of apathy!

i just like school.

I keep my goals in perspective. I make sure I know what I need to do, what I want to do, and how I need to do it. That's all I need to get/remain motivated.

Everytime I do some homework I can have a cookie...

school is g@y as sh|t and its so stupid that we determine success in life by how hard some losers decide to work when they are teenagers. we should have some sort of aptitude test on which we base everything on. maybe we can call it the scholastic aptitude test.

that's the dumbest thing i've ever read.

Because people always say you have to do well in school, fantastic test scores, etc. to succeed well in life. Also because several stupid *****y girls made fun of me all the time in grade school so I aspired to be rich and powerful one day.

I have always had self-motivation. I don't really think about it, I just really want to get the best out of life. If I really don't want to do something, such as study, I just tell myself that it will be worth it in the end... I mean I still have to go through 3 more years of high school, 4 years of undergraduate school and 4 years of graduate school, so 11 more years of school... and all I can say is I cannot wait!
