What type of degrees are your children going for? Just curious to see what is popular.

Bachelor’s.

Mrs. (Just kidding)

Oh…hehe…sorry…I meant “major”.

And a lot of people aren’t just kidding about “MRS” degrees. :P

^^^^ It’s an old joke - and while I couldn’t resist, I also don’t want it to reflect on my DD for whom I have the greatest respect.

Oh, MAJOR! I had no idea that’s what you meant. :D

Mine’s thinking physics or chemistry with a minor in Chinese language, Asian studies, or the like.

I thought only St. Mary’s in South Bend offered Mrs. degrees. :)

mathematical economics

Classics…

Go Asian Studies! Go Classics! I’m considering these two myself, although I really don’t know. Luckily, I don’t think I have to decide quite yet…

Languages and literatures are very much on my mind, though; I’ll probably ultimately do something with the Middle and Far East.

Philosophy.

architectural engineering

D1: Physics
D2: Neuroscience

D1 is marketing and sports management, perfect for her and she graduates next year. D2 is trying to decide between Business, Accounting and Biology. I, however, think she would be the perfect architect. Time will tell!

Son A - Digital Simulation and Video Game Design.

Son B - Illustration, probably with a minor in Writing.

English/Journalism. Possibly Dramatic Literature.
Based on what I know about students and college majors, it will likely change a few times.

Math, with grad school planned.

My daughter wants to be an Occupational Therapist which requires a Master’s. But, she would like to get her undergraduate degree in something relating to OT…ie; Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Development or perhaps Psychology. Even better if the school has a 5 year combined BS/MSOT program. Or at least some type of Pre-OT major/Health Science.

Son: Psychology. But he’s not sure whether to seek BS or BA. A couple schools on his list offer both. Career goal is FBI staff psychologist or hostage negotiator or “profiler.” So grad school will be in order.

Daughter: Something like Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Athletic Training. Career goal is Physical Therapist (DPT)

Business and English double major - maybe law school for patent law or intellectual property law…or work in Marketing for a few years then law school.
