kinda stupid question...

I understand nobody can give me any exact answer for my question… but i want some suggestions or opionions atleast…

ok so my question is…

If i really want to get in to the Weinberg school at NU, which one will give me more chance of admittance than the other.

undecided major in weinberg

econ major in weinberg…

plz… i need some idea…

neither will make any difference. econ is one of the most popular majors at nu so i dont think the admissions office would care.

If you feel strongly about econ, it would be good to show some direction rather than saying "undecided"

If you could put up a good essay as to why 'econ' I'd say go with econ. Otherwise, maybe it's better to go with undecided?

i don't think northwestern necessarily varies selectivity among majors in weinberg, especially since you can change majors without even really requiring approval once you're in, so i wouldn't stress it too much

the only thing i could imagine making a difference, and this is just speculation, is applying to a very underrepresented major, like comparative literature, but even that is just a guess. no one really knows these things.
