King sheets

The bottom sheet of all of my king sheets stretch terribly. I have a flannel set on now and it doesn’t but every one of the cotton sets I’ve bought stretch and wrinkle.

Any suggestions for a king sheet set that stays nice for more than 1 or 2 sleeps?

I love my sheets from Brooklinen.

I’ve had king sheets from LLBean for years with no problem. Wrinkly out of the dryer, but are tight on the bed.

I really like the cotton Hotel sheets from Costco. Unfortunately, I think they are sold out in their site at the moment, so can’t post a link.

These are the sheets I bought. Costco is out of them, so they don’t show up on their website, but they periodically get them back in stock.

We are new converts to Sheets&Giggles…BUT! I have found that mattress height really makes a difference. They are more variable than I realized. Measure your mattress height & check the sheet specs for the height/depth of the pockts.

My problem is I haven’t found king fitted sheets big enough to fit on my mattress. I have tried Cal King, but they are usually to small and I have to stretch and pull to get it on.

I get my sheets at Sams Club. They are the only ones that stay securely on our king size bed. We have a very “deep” mattress and these work perfectly as they are made for deep mattresses. And they are reasonably priced. Prior to Covid they were on sale frequently for $39.99. https://www.samsclub.com/p/members-mark-450-thread-count-sheet-set/prod14330022?_br_psugg_q=sheets

I love the sheets from unison. And they stay put.

I have seen those little “garter belt” elastics to secure sheets and it seems like that would be the way to go if you have sheets you like.

I couldn’t find a recent bedding thread. Old threads aren’t relevant since quality changes year to year.
I desperately need new sheets. The sheets and even pillowcases are all falling apart. The two brands I have now are Frette and The Company Store. In the past have also bought the Hotel series from Macy’s but the last set I didn’t feel was worth the cost.
I love Costco but they rarely have percale.
I’m considering trying Boll and Branch or Serena and Lily. I have a set of Serena and Lily sheets on my guest bed that I bought at their outlet. My last house sitter said they were the best sheets she had ever slept on. I don’t live near the outlet and regular price they are very expensive. I’m hesitant to spend the money and not be happy. I’m looking for 100% cotton, crisp cool percale that comes in a Ca King. Bonus for a brand that the fitted sheet actually stays on.

I got organic cotton king sheets from Target that I like.

I like Garnet Hill sheets.

I also like the Target sheets, I’ve gotten the organic cotton and non-organic cotton (can’t remember exactly which ones) both are crisp and cool. And a reasonable price.

It was me that actually started the old picky-about-sheets thread…

We like the 100% Oxford cotton sheets from Lands’ End. They are super deep (easily fit over a deep mattress and topper), luxuriously heavy, and never seem to wear out. They come out of the dryer super soft and do not need any touchup (with some sheets, I iron the top and side cuffs of the top sheet and pillowcases if they wrinkle badly). We have two sets at our primary house, and I bought two sets for the cabin. We love them.

I need the name of those crisp and cool sheets!

Well @thumper1 , for you, I just untucked all my blankets to look at the tags… I know they’re Casaluna… I’m pretty sure they’re these ones…

Thank you! My Wamsutta ones finally bit the dust☹️

My problem is kind of the opposite. I have LandsEnd sheets and the fitted sheet is great but the top sheet doesn’t seem to be wide enough. If I can tuck it in on my side, it’s too short on DH’s side. It’s long enough from foot to head. I have had LLBean and LandsEnd, and both are too skinny. Any wide King sheets out there?

I hear you. When I bought the old Wamsutta sheets, I got full size fitted bottom (we have a full size bed) and a Queen top sheet.

Is california king bigger than regular? If so…get “separates” and get the larger size top sheet.
