KKK - just a thought

I think you guys are a little off about BJU. It in no way endorses the KKK or the Nazi party...although it is pretty weird. I think you guys are a little off in your criticism and are making a little bit too big of a leap.

BTW, I'm not defending BJU or any of its peer institutions. I think they're all mega-TTTs and would never, ever in a million years even vaguely consider attending one.

Just in case any of you haven't seen this yet: http://www.bju.edu/prospective/expect/rhall.html

Be sure to read the last item.

^^ LOL wow thats hilarious

ROFLMAO
Oh my god that is so.. no words can express the weirdness of that university. id never apply there in a million years. wow.

"Residence hall students may not watch videos above a G rating when visiting homes in town and may not attend movie theaters"

and im not gonna mention the best thing.. last rule on the bottom, roflol.

talk about religious fanaticism..
that place seems to be perfect for a KKK or Nazi party member to attend.. although I doubt any of them would want to.

Liberty University (such an ironic name...) is just as bad.

http://www.liberty.edu/StudentAffairs/index.cfm?PID=1378

why in Gods name would you bring a pistol to a university in the first place???? but yet you cant watch a G rated movie??? No self respecting Nazi or KKK guy would ever go to that school!!!!! lol

Thata liberty place is just in it for the money....man are these supposed to be Christian schools?

i went to liberty for debate camp, and the RAs were wearing chastity rings and stuff (seemed like everyone was doing it). they were very nice people, though (altho the camp director flipped out when he ran into some lab leaders [who came from other universities/aren't part of liberty] playing poker... that was pretty funny)

Chastity Ring? Is that some kind of undergarment?

WOW!! That school inspects your dorms daily...***...

THese schools make all higher learning facilities look bad. lol

Im black and even I think it would be freakin hilarious if u put u are a member of the KKK on the application.

just a few things bj university (bob jone suniversity) does to you

1) you can't date any girl only on sundays after prayer and up to 4 pm
2) you must go back to your dorm by 10 pm
3) when you enter the college they make you throw away all your music (they hate rock for example)
4) only g rated stuff is allowed
5) there used to be vehement segregation only a few years ago (they wouldn't allow blacks date whites)
6) being creative and an individual is strongly opposed and disliked here. you MUST be a conformist
7) their school is not respected by 99 percent of grad schools and the job force. it is looked down upon severely.
exs) 1. The school of nursing is not NLN accredited nor do they intend to be...this WILL cause a problem when and if you decide to get a Masters degree.
2. The school of nursing has a twisted view of psychiatric medication and the treatment of psychiatric illness.
3. The school of nursing does not allow any room for disagreement of the above teachings, if you openly disagree, you are labeled a "troubled christian."

8) have to wear a uniform off campus
9) dates off campus require a member of faculty to come with you and you must pay for their plate also
10) demerits for being late and skipping class
11) you get "campused" (like detention) for holding hands with a girlfriend outside the sunday dating itme
12) required to attend chapel every day (unless due to a medical emrgency)
13) this college isn't accredited by 99 percent of colleges and when you ask them personally, they tell you the only accrediation you need is from god.

there are several more rules and regulations for this crazy university

"9) dates off campus require a member of faculty to come with you and you must pay for their plate also:"

that's insane!

i know!

SOOOOOO RETARDED!

"Abercrombie & Fitch and its subsidiary Hollister have shown an unusual degree of antagonism to the name of Christ and an unusual display of wickedness in their promotions. In protest, we will not allow articles displaying their logos to be worn, carried, or displayed (even if covered or masked in some way)." LMAO!!!

LMAO...is this a prison or school...

Its kinda sad that this has become a popular thread... seems kinda obvious, whether admissions people are supposed to be impartial or not, they still can/will be, especially with an issue that can trigger such high levels of emotion...

I had a friend who was a Christian and wanted to see what a Christian University atmosphere would be like. Well, lol, she went to Messiah college and on the tour/interview or whatever, they asked her what she liked to do. Well, she was like, "I love music, the arts and I especially love to dance!" Shortly thereafter, one of the admissions folk took her aside and told her, "you know, this may not be the right fit for you." Lol, that's hilarious stuff... anyways, she attends NYU now and is a senior.

wow, I thought you were joking about bob jones university...I can't believe it's a real college, lol

from liberty college

30 Reprimands + $500 Fine
+ 30 hours Disciplinary Community Service + possible Administrative Withdrawal. NOTE: For each accumulation of six (6) or more reprimands after 30, an additional $150 fine will be assessed.

Abortion
Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages
Refusal to submit to an Alco-Sensor test and/or drug test
Spending the night with a person of the opposite sex

These places seem like utter hellholes. However, I still don't see the correlation between the Nazi party and its belief system (racial superiority, world domination, eugenics, etc), the KKK and its belief system (same stuff), and the religious weirdos and their belief system.

There's one clear correlation: They're all completely mentally insane.
