<p>When do we have to sign up to take this test? Does anyone have any idea? Also, any comments on the level of difficulty?</p>

<p>Check the website (do a Google search for “UCLA Korean placement exam”); I’m not sure, but I think registration opens up sometime during the summer.</p>

<p>It’s not difficult at all. If you taken the SAT II for Korean, it’s similar or even easier in terms of difficulty. There’s also a short essay that you have to write at the end of the placement exam.</p>

<p>I did check that site but the site and my friend who took it say different things. The site says I do not have to register for the test and I can just go in to take it, but my friend says I have to register for a spot to take the test. What did you have to do?</p>
